The Company health policy seeks:

• To maintain the companies overall high health status
• To ensure that the highest level of biosecurity measures are in place at all times.
• To carry out regular monitoring for all important production diseases
• To monitor any changes in clinical health status
• To match customer health status with the supplying health status
• To promote customer confidence and success in using UPB Breeding stock

HEALTH POLICY

The responsibilities lie equally between the breeder and company in ensuring the success of UPB’s Health Policy. Health monitoring and reporting are essential aspect of herd stability, and this enables real genetic progress to be made, the benefits of this advancement can then be passed onto our breeding stock customers.
